Production

It started out as Betacam in 1988, then Digital Widescreen 16X9 and now it’s HD. At IVC Entertainment we have always tried to stay on the cutting edge of production values. Despite a myriad of exploding formats & production options we have managed to place image quality first, trendy formats second. That means we have happily skipped generations of now obsolete formats in favor of a true “next generation” format. That format is HD, and while there are a lot of flavors within this category the bottom line is image quality. From 720p at 24fps to 1080P at 30fps you can expect a quantum leap in the viewing experience.

Generally speaking, IVC is a documentary production unit. We specialize in 30 to 90 minute productions. Most often these productions are part of a series of programs that investigate a given subject or embrace a given genre. We are not for hire. We pick topics of interest, seek funding (if necessary), then we go about the business of making the best possible program within the budget we have available.

We are always looking for compelling stories. We believe “pound for pound” no other production company can equal our output. We can prove it too.
