Apollo 13

The world held its breath as a major system failure set the stage for America’s most dramatic space mission ever!

With two successful missions to the moon under their belt, NASA would launch Apollo 13 on April 11, 1970. By now, the flight from the earth to the moon was almost becoming routine. But soon the world would be reminded how dangerous an undertaking it was.

On April 13th, Apollo 13 was the victim of a major explosion that would test NASA’s ingenuity and the crew’s will to survive.  Here in this program is the real archival footage of how NASA solved the problems and brought the crew of Apollo 13 safely home.
