YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK

Yosemite National Park was established as one of the first wilderness parks in the United States. Is may be  best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand expansive meadows, ancient and giant sequoias and a vast unspoiled wilderness area. It stands today as a shrine to human foresight with the strength of granite, power of glaciers, the persistence of life, and the tranquility of the High Sierra.
