El Salvador

This country is an amazing surprise. Almost as soon as you land in San Salvador you realize there is something different about this Central American country. The roads seem a little nicer, the towns a little bit more developed but it is definitely a Central American country. In talking to the locals you may learn Salvadorans are not generally fond of their Mexican neighbors or Hondurans for that matter. But they are a friendly people – especially to Americans. From its amazing Pacific coast to its inland volcanos this is an interesting and exciting place to explore.
